    MP3 Players -- Cyrillic Support

    Hey guys,

I recently added some mp3s from allofmp3 to my Phillips GoGear and apparently altho they support everything from french to Chinese, Korean and Japanese, they do not support Russian/Cyrillic... so i get nice little squares instead of letters...

Anyone have any idea how to add cyrillic support to the Phillips GoGear(6GB) or know which players support Cyrillic labeling?

    Thanks for your input!

Unless the GoGear has some way to update its operating software, your probably out of luck. I do know that the iPod supports cyrillic. Best course of action is to probably email Phillips and ask.

Figured as much... and while the GoGear does have a firmware uograde application there has yet to be an updated firmware, and i seriousily doubt that my pleas for Cyrillic support will be heard... i'll probably end up just buying an iPod and giving my GoGear to my brother or something once i get some money...oh well... until then its counting the character lengths under artists name to figure out who im listening to ^^ lol...

Don't buy that iPod too quickly - I can't get mine to display Cyrillic yet -though if anyone knows how to make it do so I'd be grateful!

I guess I should have been more specific - iPod Nano. I know it supports Russian.
