Thread: A Fairytale

I vaguely remember a Fairytale (not Russian! Maybe Grimm brothers, maybe not), about a prince who took a secret identity, changed his name and put poor clothes on, so that people (and girls?) would judge and love him for what he is inside, not for his status and richness.

Does it exist, or do I confuse it with a movie for children? If it exists, does anybody know its Russian name and if its text can be found somewhere on the internet?

P.S. It is not "The Prince and the Poor" (?), where the prince has a poor двойник (?).

I know the fairy tale with such a story. It's called in Russian Король-Дроздобород. And it's true - it's the Grimm Brothers' fairytale. It's about a king and the wicked princes. He convinced her that he is a poorman and hardened her to get rid of her wicked habits and lazyness and become a true and nice wife. A nice one story.

OK, сказкаб. I chat with a nice woman and her daughter. I tell them fairy tales (in my own way). I use simple words many times so I learn Russian and they learn English. Help me Leof and Ramil, some sites that are simple. 3 medveds, 3 svinya, Jack-off и каланча. maybe some simple tales?
