The Orthodox Church uses Julian calendar. Every year they publish holidays in Gregorian calendar. Lots of people don't care how the Church does it. For example in 2101 the Orthodox Church will celebrate Christmas on January 8. (If we will still use Gregorian calendar)
And yes, in Julian Calendar it is December 25 today.
A Russian student who is a member of the choir asked that they do a song in Russian this year for the Winter Concert and here is the result!!!
