    Love words in Russian

    Hello

    I've heard about book coming out about words of love in all sorts of languages. Its funny that in English we say things like "dear" and "sweetheart" and in French they say "my little cabbage". Do you know any fun phrases and words to do with love? Words that describe love at first sight, flirting, seduction and terms of endearment? I've found that website about love words in FAQ but I'm interested in the stories behind things. Things that sound odd - like in Mexico calling your loved one "fatty" is OK!

    The translation is incorrect and doesn't really make sense. The expression "mon petit chou" refers to pastry, for instance cream-puff, and certainly not to veggies, cabbage here.

    Thins here, i guess are the words. She wants to know the story behind the words. Where they came from.

    "the story behind things" Is a very common english phrase.

    Actually, I guess "the story behind 'whatever' " would be a more accurate description =). But it doesnt change the meaning. Whatever you want to know about.
