Interesting. I read an article talking about these types of machines a few months ago, but this is the first place where i've seen it implemented. I wonder what the accuracy of the device actually is - or how they even test it effectively for that matter.

It just occured to me that the Moscow international airport is Sheremetyevo... what is this domodedovo thing?
Yeah, that used to be the main one I think, but I believe Domododevo has picked up some traffic in the past few years. I did a quick googlization and it seems as though domestic air travel and international BA and Swissair use it.Quote:

Yeah, I heard somewhere that it was made to look much better and had a more confortable environment, so more people were, naturally, interested in going there. The only one I've been to is Pulkovo, which I wasn't fond of: arrived to wait in a long line to do a visa process I'd never been through before, then proceeded to go to some crappy, busted old bus and load my luggage in rain. On the departure, I arrived at like 2 am; then had to sit for 2 hours in an empty, closed down airport hall. On the other hand, I suppose I did get to where I was going in one piece, so that's something to be happy about! And Frankfurt was a nicer -- but it was still an airport and it was on the euro which REALLY sucked.Quote:
