Which letter do you like the most?

Pleasing aesthetically or by sound.... or any other way...

Я попытался создать такой опрос о русских буквах, но это невозможно, так как в русском языке слишком много букв!

I'm going with 'q' too.

Why Q? It doesn't do anything that KW couldn't do. Maybe thats why there isn't one in russian. We have several redundant letters I'd like to get rid of. Q, X, and C to name a few.

i like 'j' and 'd'

It is harder to think of English words that start with X though, and only takes up 1.25 pages in the dictionary.

I agree with you. I like that one because it looks like a butterfly. And besides, in the font the poll is posted in, I find none of the letters pleasing.

That reminds me of the rubbish Jackie Chan film I saw the other day. I don't know why, but he'd found himself in a sky resort in Ukrain's Carpathian mountains and didn't know where he was and some FBI agent on the phone asked him to spell out the sign: СНІЖНІ something, and he was "C, H, K, no, backwards K forwards K, H, I"

I'm going with W. I suppose I've chosen this letter because there's no W in Russian and I also like the way W sounds. I think that every letter looks nice when it's written by a person with callegraphic hadrwriting.

"L", because London starts with "L", and I Love London

And also "F" cause I like the sound, my cat sometimes says "Fffffffff!"

The coolest letter is "o" without a shadow of a doubt.

O is the perfect letter, it can be seen from all angles and still be identified with no problem. The perfect roundness of a circle is always fascinating. It is also the only (or at least one of the very few) letters that resemble real life objects, like an eye! or a ball!

In Hebrew O is an S (in certain fonts at least :P )

b looks like a bunny

D looks like the door of a house where a duck lives

a looks like a little apple person, and A is the stand where the apple man puts his apples.

e looks like an elephant's head, and E looks like an elephant sitting down.

I chose my letter before reading the posts in this thread.
I was going to choose "A", but I figured everybody would choose "A" because it is the first letter in the alphabet. So I chose "J".
I was suprised nobody chose "A".

My favorite Russian letter is "Ж". It looks like a spider and sounds cool.

May I suggest that A is a wooden stairs which the apple man uses to gather the upper apples?

That's why the really stupid kids in Russian class say "tibl" instead of "ты".
