Thread: Learning Russian in Russia

Can someone help please, Im required to learn russian for my new job role and will be talking 2 months leave to study the language. I am looking to book through a language Travel Agency and wanted some advice on the locations of the schools and any advice on Russian language Schools.

I am Booking up through a website: http://www.language-abroad.co.uk , could someone please take a look and advise if the schools have a good reputation.

Any advice will be welcome.

I have done two month long courses in Russia with different outfits. I can recommend the second one: http://www.ruslanguage.ru/ which I really enjoyed (group lessons). They take beginners and more advanced people, and are quite well run considering my other experience, where they didn't give a damn and I was very poorly taught.

I did one month with ruslanguage.ru, the same as groggery1. 2003. Nice bunch of people there. on campus of MGU.

Thank you both for your replies. I have heard bad things on some language schools (worldwide) so thought id play it safe with the agents. I will ask if they deal with the school you recomend!!
