Learning Russian with a learning disabillity - HELP!
I have light ADD and Dyslexia (our matching letters are KILLING me!!). Is there anyone out there that has the patience of a saint that would like to friend up with me? I'll give you like...e-cookies or something LoL :tease:
I know my ABC's (the alphabet) and can read most things....I need to learn words and how to properly construct sentences (as well as where the pronunciation does what - sorry that sounds dumb).

What textbook are you using? We may be able to suggest a better one.
Re: Learning Russian with a learning disabillity - HELP!
I cannot afford - and probably cant find any at our local library either, textbooks. I'm stuck with the good graces of you kind people and the internet itself. It doesn't really matter the actual medium through which I learn that bothers me, it my brain. ADD / Attention Deficit Disorder makes it very hard to stay concentrating on the subject matter. I also have Dyslexia which is where your eye reading and brain understanding don't get along. I naturally see numbers and letters in words in the wrong places. I'm sure you have these things in Russia ( almost typed USSR  ) but it's hard for me to explain it to those of you who read this as I know a lot of European countries dismiss our "American Diseases" as scapegoats and stupidity. I'm not saying you would think this of me, I just know what I've seen in the past. So, as this is ah hobby of mine, more or less and one I'm pretty serious about doing my best at...it's frustrating when a lot of your letters are LIKE our letters, just backwards. I hope that help explain my situation a little better.
