    I want to learn russian

    Hello

Unfortunately, I work in place which most of the workers in my departments are Russian, so they talk them self in Russian, and I really don't have other reasons...

I try audio book, but it intend in tourism and therefor it not useful...

So I want to read text with Russian which relate to the works like computer website and technology.

I can use in Google translation, it is not perfect but still good but I have other problem:

The alphabet of the Russian language is extremely different than english, I learn the alphabet from http://langintro.com/rintro/index.htm

Is there a site which contain articles in computer and internet and also include audio records of them, which will help in the reading?

It will better if it include English translations which made by human?

    Thanks for your help

I try that, there is two problem:
    1. The definitions in the Russian Wikipedia are not equivalent translation to the English equivalent definitions.

    2. To found something to read in Russian it's easy, the more problem is the request to articles in computers and internet which also recorder to audio files.

    Is there something like that?

Why "unfortunately"? I would love to work with Russians, and, if you want to learn the language, what better environment could you have?

I can understand that you want to understand what they are talking about, so why not ask them to teach you something? Unless they have a reason not to like you, I've found that Russians love to teach people their language.

That would be better than any audio course or book, although, you will need that in time, if you are serious about learning Russian.

I say unfortunately since I don't understand the languages, so to understand it, I need to learn it...

Yes, but I don't want to interfere them too much, so they won't say that I don't work...

The other problem with Russian, is that is not phonetic enough, for example, the O could be A if there no stress on it, but the stress mark not written in regular Russian like in the Wikipedia, so it problem to read and translate words, so I would remember words which pronounce the differently I didn't recognize them.

I ask from time to time in my work how to say some words, but it is not a solution.

    P.S.
    Why do you learn russian?

    LEARN THE ALPHABET!!!!
Start slowly, you WON'T be talking engineering / computer code in Russian for a while. Learn to read a simple "How To Speak Russian" book and go from there.

If you can't rhyme one word with another, don't to break into a topic.
