    CEO vs General Manager

I need a help of native speakers of English. I'm translating an article from Russian into English and faced the difficulty of choosing the proper word (the original Russian term is "генеральный директор" [general'nyi direktor ]).

The matter is that I don't have a clue which one to choose in the following sentence:
"Alexis Budova is the president of Lubinskaya Merchandising Group and also the CEO/General Manager of John Travolta Dance Studios in Russia."

Here is some additional infornation that may help u to make your choice:
These dance studios are solely owned by Alexis in Russia. Alexis purchased the right to use the John Travolta name and dance products in her business. John Travolta does not share in the Russian profits and does not control the business in Russia.

I have some more variants to suggest as well: General Director, Executive Director, Chief Executive, Chief Operating...

P.S. There really is no John Travolta dance studio in Russia. I'm providing made-up names in order to give context.
P.P.S. Looking forward to your replies. Thanks.

Hmm this may be a little difficult becuase so many different companies have different titles although carry the same weight.

    My Opinion:

Since it is known that Alexis is the President of Lubinskaya Merchandising Group then it would probably not be right to have her the "President" of the Dance Studio as well. President is usually the top person, also known as CEO etc... Since she is President of Lubinskaya then I would choose something like Chief Operating Officer (COO) yeah it sounds funny but its real.
I am stating this because its most likely that Alexis will have a "team" that manages the Dance Studio and she will only have to worry about very high level issues. So a General Manager and Director would probably be assigned to that Dance Studio.

    My 2 cents.

General director is a direct translation of the term генеральный директор. Use it. Any other choice wouldn't correspond well with the original.

    "General Director" is fine
Well, I don't know what to say. I want to say thanks to the Academy, to Mama, to Papa and to my dog. I love you all.
