Я занимаюсь русским языком около года.
I've been studying Russian for 17.5 years now, as I'm a native speaker.
I think this poll will be a success.
Last time I did this poll, I forgot to add the option for native speaker. :wink:Quote:

It's good that you remembered to add the option for 'native speaker' this time. If you hadn't added the option, I guess, they would be a lot of votes, such as More than 5 years or Don't know.
It's been a year since I started leaning Russian and now I bigan teaching myself a bit of German :D
Мне кажется русский проще и мне очень нравится этот язык!
16 years 8)
Had to go for "don't know" :|
I've been interested in Russian culture for as long as I can remember (even before I knew the meaning of the world "culture", I guess  ), but I have never done any formal studies of the language. I just keep toying with it... then I decide I don't have the time to do it properly anyway, and try to run away. But it just keeps coming back
And to my great surprise, I actually understand a whole lot more than I think I do. Unfortunately, my knowledge is mainly passive. :(

Self-teaching since last June, but I'm talking a course next semester.
If it's too simple for what I've learned already then that's an easy 10 credit points, unless the speaking assessment throws me...
I only started around February...
I was absolutely serious! I learn something new every day. We sometimes just don't notice this.Quote:

You know I'm native, don't you?
Если вы носитель языка, то это опрос не для вас. лол.
Имеется в виду, сколько времени иностранцы учат его  :)
Но там есть выбор для носителей...
Интересно. As of this post, more than one third of the forum participants are native speakers. That is actually very encouraging for Russian learners. A big thanks for your help native Russianeers. :D
