go here:

scroll down to the [Txt-Win-ZIP] files.
If you download a zip file and open it w/ WinRar there's a Notepad document that won't show Russian letters.
thanks

It works for me. I am using Power Archiver. I click "open With" and choose "word" and it comes out in Russian.
Works for me. I'm using WinRAR 3.60. Although it has nothing to do with the archiver, your text editor sets the codepage wrong. Correct it.
Try to open it in the web-browser and select the proper codepage. Notepade was not intended for multilanguage texts.Quote:

How do you get around that?

I clicked on your story, and it downloaded a zipfile. The zipfile opened and there was the story in a txt file. I opened the txt file and lo and behold! There it was in perfect Russian! Your encoding must be screwy!
You can right-click the .txt file and choose "Open with...". Or alternatively you can open web-browser and select in the menu File->Open.Quote:
