Thread: Fonts in russian programs

I recently bought a program "Russkii Repetitor" in Berlin for my Spanish speaking windows ME. The problem is that though I have cyrillic fonts, I can not use the program as almost all texts appear as a series of "

I have that problem too with some of the online sites everyone has been recommending. And the problem is, the sites usually have fonts for you to instal but they dont all work.

I don't know Windows ME, but in XP there's a special tab in Languages and Standarts (Setup panel) for "non-Unicode programs", and there you should choose Russian.

The problem I have on English Windows is when I choose Russian for non-unicode programs, all accented characters in are diplayed as Cyrillic letters. So when I use Spanish programmes or whatever, all the accented letter are replaced by Cyrillic ones.
