Me and Netsurfer are waiting for Dogboy to find a public toilet in St Petersburg so we decided to start a thread while we wait for him to return. I hope he took enough roubles with him because I think they will try to charge him extra when they see how urgent he needs to go!
Damn Russia is far more advanced than the US. Who ever heard of WiFi in a public toilet? I guess the 14 rubles is going to some good use.

Is that anything like what we have here? Homeless guys find themselves an orange vest (sometimes), and stand on traffic islands at intersections asking for spare change. Does the municipal government *really* collect 7 rubles to do your duty? What happens to those 7 rubles, anyway????
I think its just a private business or company. Like anyone can open a subway or mcdonalds in america. There are toilette babushkas all over major cities in Russia. Its probably something like 1) make a phonecall to porto-pottie company 2) rent porto-pottie 3) have it moved to high traffic pedestrian area 4) try to beat out the compitition.Quote:

There are free toilets as well, but they are dirty as hell. Most of the paid toilets are private. So when you pay for it, you basically pay to keep the owner happy and for someone to keep it clean. ;)Quote:
