Thread: CSI Miami: The Worst of the Three?

Does anyone else think that CSI Miami is the worst of the three CSI shows? I actually liked the first episode of the first season, but as I watched on, Horatio's antics became more and more annoying, as well as those lines that seem to have been written by scriptwriters specially for him just to show how cool he is...
(Old news, I know, but I have just started watching it recently...)

OGM... I despise the Miami version!!!! Him and his stupid sunglasses! It is really sad as I loved Emily Proctor on the West Wing, but on CSI she is awful or her talent is wasted.

She does look good in this clip . About the only thing I liked about her in CSI Miami was her accent. Maybe it is just me, but I find it cute. Not the voice, but just the way she speaks. And she is not the only one who doesn't get a chance to show her best in that show. It seems to be revolving around Caruzo's character, written and directed with just him in mind.

So I must be the only one who liked CSI Miami? It was the first crime procedural show I've ever seen, it ignited my interest in criminalistics and profiling. I had no idea that it's a spin-off, so I thought that it was really innovative. I have a soft spot for Caruzo's character and his sunglasses, even if I know that he overdoes it sometimes.

I have not seen a lot of episodes, though, maybe 10 or so of "CSI Miami" and about a dozen from all the other CSI shows. I really don't like this dude (I don't know which CSI is that, probably an "original" one):

Miami is my least favourite of the three as well. It's not just that I find David Caruso grating, but I find the visual editing really tiring to watch (especially when they start using three, four, five, six split screen windows). It's as if their editor just has to try every visual effect his editing desk has, rather than remember the point is to serve telling the story.
