Is this really necessary? Can't we have at least 10 or 12 KB?

Host your avatar at any of numerous free image hosting services like www.imageshack.us and select 'offsite avatar' option in your profile. My avatar is 77 Kb.

Когда аватарка была маленькая, я думала, что Матроскин в шапке с помпоном. Теперь как-то непривычно. :D

I picked a random avatar from the inet, just put the address in the avatar location and you can have 5803965 Mb avatars!
