Thread: coffee cans

I have some coffee cans that have донг асс written on them. Does anyone know what this means? The cans have the mark of a lighthouse on them I wonder which factory they come from. Can anyone help?

Maybe it means "Донбасс"?
Donbass is a big industrial region in Ukraine.

I can not identify a factory though.

Edit: Perhaps it is not a lighthouse but something from the areas of coal mining, steelmaking or heavy engineering industry. Like blast furnace, for example.

NO this is not a joke. The industrial area sounds right as the design is industrial. I cannot add pictures as I dont know how!

I have had another look at the mark on the bottom and it is a miners lamp also the design on the cups relate to mining. These cups are of high quality they are bone china and have gold guilding.

Also it has an internet site http://www.farfor.si.net.ua/, which is very poor because, as I know, DPP has been bankrupted several times for the last several years. You can see there it's logo: miners lamp.

BTW Donbass is from "DONetsk coal BASin."
