Hello,
What sudden associations do you have when you hear "Ukraine "?
I heard for some people it is almost or completely the same as Russia.
So, do you clearly distinguish Ukraine as a separate country and what stereotypes, beliefs, good/bad things come to your mind hearing a word " Ukraine"?
Better not to go there.
At this moment ukranians have a crysis of their self-identity, so the topic is really hot.
No place for cold mind when emotions are involved.
Thank you for your opinion! Why do you think it is better not to visit Ukraine? You see it dangerous? I would not say there is a crisis, yea, some people have taken new roles and new functions in society but most live the same way.
I said nothing abot visiting Ukraine, i mean better avoid that topic.
Hm.. why have you moved my thread to Politics? My question wasn't supposed to be political. If i wanted to discuss current situation i would definetely mention it.
Just to clarify my original idea:
What associations do you have when you hear a word "Ukraine"? E.g some dishes, songs, places...
