To all language learning experts: I need your help!
Hello everyone!
For some unexplainable reason (probably my unquenchable thirst for learning and knowledge) I've decided that I want to learn a second language, and that I want that language to be Russian.
I've obtained the Pimsluer Russian series of audio lessons and am about halfway through lesson 2. I have to say, I have learned a tremendous amount from these audio lessons. However, I have realized that becoming fluent in Russian is going to take a lot more work than listening Pimsleur. Specifically, I need to supplement this with more learning materials.
Here is where I need your help!
I need you to suggest learning materials for me, as I am a complete newbie when it comes to language learning. After all, you guys are the experts, right? ;-)
-Any suggestions are greatly appreciated, thank you for your time.

You haven't visited the "getting started" forum yet. This subject is covered many times. But I'll save you a lot of trouble. Get this book. http://www.amazon.com/New-Penguin-Russi ... 0140120416
It's cheap and well liked. Keep on with the Pimsleur. Later on you can try http://www.tasteofrussian.com/ and listen to the podcasts.

You caught me, I did not see the getting started forum. Thank you for the book recommendations, I will definitely check them out.
