thx, it's not understood here that swearing is an integral part of language.

One of the guys prayed: "Господи, выведи, на xyй / Lord, drive us out of here, #$%@#". (Извиняюсь за мат, но раз уж пошла такая пьянка...) Looks like Jesus isn't so easily insulted considering that the guys finally made it to safety.
But seriously, when I see such things, I feel something like "Oh my, how we little humans are weak and miserable before the mother nature".

In my experience people should be very careful about swearing in a foreign language. It is so easy to get it totally wrong.

Actually I don't know who was behind the wheel but judging by the adjectives he used, it sounded like a woman.

Man, I ought to be ashamed of myself. I understand many words of Russian "мат"! Even can't remember how I learned that stuff! Although I never use profanity in any language [well, not that I never do it, I'm afraid I've done it somewhere else on this forum], just understanding is embarrassing enough...
A quick check:
Is "щас" a shortened form of "сейчас", and "чё", of "чего"?

Я думаю, что чё это вместо "что".

Я думаю, что чё это вместо "что".

Grammatically it should be "что" where they say "чё", but I think Misha Tal is right. "Чё" is a shortened form of "чего". We often [mis]use "чего" instead of "что".

Sometimes even people say ща when saying something along the lines of like "Yeah, I'm comming!" but rarely by itself. So thats a good one to know too.

like Да, ща приду! its pretty common in speach.
