Thread: Художественное чтение - what would be English equivalent?

What would be English equivalent of "Художественное чтение"? Художественное чтение — Википедия

The closest I could think of was "text declamation", but when I search for that, all I get is Text declamation - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
which deals with setting words to music and is definitely not what I'm looking for.

Any ideas?

We have "poetry readings". If it's not poetry, I'm not sure... I like Seraph's answer in that case.

There is something called "poetry slam" Poetry slam - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. But this seems different. Dickens used to give readings, but description is simply "public reading".

Maybe nowdays you could use any kind of intensifier. .
